This site was launched on 10 April 1999; we were the fourth Trades Council to launch a site in the UK. We would like to thank you for your visit and hope that you have enjoyed the pages and fouind them of interest. If so, please bookmark our site and tell your friends.
On 3 June 1999 we were awarded LabourStart’s "Site of the Week Award"; then at the end of the year we came fourth in its annual international competition - being the best placed British site. Thanks to our loyal readers we achieved the same result in 2000.
The whole site was redesigned and relaunched in 2005.
