Labour & Trade Union Boycotts

Don’t Fly PIA

The International Transport Workers’ Federation has called for a boycott of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA). The ITF has accused the company of using Pakistan’s anti union legislation to get rid of its employees that are members of a trade union.

This legislation denies workers the freedom of association and free collective bargaining that measure up to internationally recognised standards. You can help to get them back to work and to achieve trade union recognition by refusing to use PIA.

Please contact the ITF and use their model letters of protest, campaign materials (available in various languages) or make your views known to General Pervez Musharraf, President of Pakistan and to Pakistan Airlines.
